New Rumors Emerge on Pedro Pascal’s Role in WONDER WOMAN 1984

Read Time:1 Minute, 22 Second

We know that Wonder Woman 1984 is the title of the sequel. We also know it has started filming already. We know that Gal Gadot and Chris Pine are returning, and we know that Kristen Wiig and Pedro Pascal have joined the cast. The former is already confirmed to be playing Cheetah, while the latter…well, that is where the intrigue lies.

There has been speculation before as to who Pascal is playing, but some new info might shed a little bit more light.

ComicBook.com brought a tweet to our attention from an “insider” on Twitter named Daniel R. His tweet is short, sweet, and to the point:

That does seem in the realm of possibility, as the precedence was set in the first one, with Ares hiding as a human. Whose to say that there aren’t more doing the same?

That instantly launched a theory that explains Steve Trevor’s curious reemergence. But Daniel shuts that down as well.

As for the God thing, well, I hope the film doesn’t fall for the common sequel trap of being a virtual carbon copy of the first movie. As Don Cheadle’s Basher in Ocean’s Thirteen says:

So who knows, but one thing seems clear: The mystery around Pascal’s character is hyping up, and will not stop until we get confirmation.

If Pascal is a God who do you think it is? Hades? Zeus? Someone else? The possibilities are vast. Some are even theorizing he could be Dr. Fate! Where do you stand?

Wonder Woman 1984 opens November 1, 2019.
