Sony Gives Us Two Delicious New VENOM Posters To Snack On

Read Time:1 Minute, 19 Second

Sony has just released two gorgeous new posters for its upcoming Marvel flick, Venom. The first features the titular anti-hero in all of his symbiote glory, as well as the three main stars of the film: Tom Hardy, Riz Ahmed, and Michelle Williams. The second is one a cool painting meant to hype up the film’s IMAX release.

You can check out the first of the two new Venom posters right here:

One of Marvel’s most enigmatic, complex and badass characters comes to the big screen, starring Academy Award-nominated actor Tom Hardy as the lethal protector Venom.

The film is directed by Ruben Fleischer, who’s best known for his work on Zombieland, and it centers on one of the most beloved characters from the Spider-Man mythology. As things stand, there’s still plenty of speculation going around that there’ll be an appearance by Tom Holland’s Peter Parker in the film- but not as Spidey.

Sony has a number of very ambitious plans for where they want to take their own strain of the Marvel Universe- completely separate of what Marvel Studios has been working on since 2008 and focusing solely on characters within the Spider-Man mythos. You can read all about what they’re calling Sony’s Universe of Marvel Characters RIGHT HERE.

Included in those plans is a Morbius: The Living Vampire movie starring Jared Leto, which is expected to film next year.

They also released an IMAX poster for the film over the weekend, which you can scope out below:

Venom will arrive in theaters next month on October 5.
