ELSEWORLDS: Watch A Trailer And Get Some Details On The Upcoming ARROWVERSE Crossover!

Read Time:1 Minute, 49 Second

We have covered the Elseworlds Arrowverse crossover quite extensively on RTF. There is a ton of information out there already, and now we know a bit more. Before we get into that though, watch the first Elseworlds trailer below!

There is a lot going on here, but Entertainment Weekly might be able to shed some light on it. There will be SPOILERS below if you want to go in without knowing anything.

The three-night event begins with Arkham Asylum doc John Deegan (Lost’s Jeremy Davies) rewriting reality, which results in Oliver (Amell) and Barry (Gustin) swapping lives. In this new reality, Oliver Queen looks like Gustin and Barry Allen looks like Amell, and the two heroes are the only ones who know they’re in the wrong lives and have each other’s powers.

So the two of them travel to Earth-38 to see Supergirl, since no one on their Earth knows anything is wrong.

Grant Gustin who plays Barry Allen Oliver Queen had this to say:

“You’re not going to see me playing Oliver Queen’s mannerisms, or Stephen playing Barry’s mannerisms. It’s more being aware that for some reason we’ve switched lives and destinies. It’s more the fun of the situational comedy that we keep finding ourselves in, and less us having a complete role reversal,” Gustin tells EW. “We get to see Stephen do some of the more goofy speed stuff I have to do on a regular basis, and I get some actual combat as Green Arrow. So, we just see different colors for each of us.”

Other things to watch out for are Tyler Hoechlin’s Superman battling himself, and a Legendary cameo. That is not to mention that all of this could serve as a backdoor pilot for a Batwoman television series!

While this crossover might feel a bit more intimate than last year’s “Crisis On Earth-X”, (which our Editor-In-Chief Mario-Francisco Robles still hasn’t watched), it is still a huge undertaking and we are still in for a wonderful treat it seems.

Elseworlds airs over 3 nights, starting December 9.
