Here Is The First Trailer For TERMINATOR: DARK FATE
There have been many Terminator sequels through the years, but this one is special. James Cameron is involved, and it will ignore all the continuity after Terminator 2: Judgment Day. This will mark the triumphant return of Linda Hamilton as Sarah Connor. Paramount just released the first trailer, and you can watch it below:
The trailer shows off Gabriel Luna’s new Terminator, who seems to have better abilities than anyone we’ve seen before. The real star of the trailer is, of course, Linda Hamilton, and also Mackenzie Davis who seems to be a hybrid between a Terminator and a human.
Our Editor-in-Chief has also chimed in on the teaser:

A decent tease of what’s to come, with just enough cool moments to keep me hungry for more.
Callbacks to T2 were clutch.
The messaging of what this film is- a legacy sequel- was well done.
But I need to be sold on the newbies.
I’m here for Sarah, tho. pic.twitter.com/iURnA798tn
There isn’t any real meaty plot stuff in this, but this is just a teaser trailer. It shows you want you want: Linda Hamilton, Arnold Schwarzenegger, cool effects and big big guns.
The questions that arise are: Where did the older Schwarzenegger T-800 Terminator come from? The unit used in T2 was destroyed at the end. The biggest question though, is where is John Connor? In the now unofficial Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines, John was alive and Sarah was dead. I don’t think it will be reversed for this, as John is alive in the future, which spurs the events of the first two movies. I wonder if he will have a role in this, whether it is just a quick cameo, or if his role has been kept secret.
In addition to the effective teaser, a brand new poster was released yesterday.

This is the most excited I’ve been for a Terminator movie in a long time. The last one was disappointing to me on almost every level. Deadpool‘s Tim Miller looks to have crafted something special, just based off of the quick visuals we’ve had.
Terminator: Dark Fate hits theaters November 1st.
Linda Hamilton (“Sarah Connor”) and Arnold Schwarzenegger (“T-800”) return in their iconic roles in Terminator: Dark Fate, directed by Tim Miller (Deadpool) and produced by visionary filmmaker James Cameron and David Ellison. Following the events of Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Terminator: Dark Fate also stars Mackenzie Davis, Natalia Reyes, Gabriel Luna, and Diego Boneta.
