TITANS: Nightwing Is Coming, Thwaites Hopes His New Suit Fits

TITANS took the world by storm in the fall of last year, bringing a different take on the Teen Titans of the DC Comics universe. Brenton Thwaites starred as Dick Grayson/Robin in a darker take on the role with the infamous “F*** Batman” line in the first episode of the season. Most thought this would result in the traditional role change of Dick Grayson from Robin to Nightwing, but it did not happen in the eleven episodes of season 1. Now it looks like season 2 will be the time Grayson will change roles, allowing for the Jason Todd to completely take over the role of Robin.

“I don’t know if I have a new one… I think we…yes, I have a new one, I haven’t tried it on yet so I’m anticipating the day I get to try that on and see how it looks. See how it fits. See if I can move in it, I probably can. Yeah, I’m excited to try that on.”

That makes it sound like originally the costume was a part of TITANS‘ original season finale episode, saying it’s not new a new costume. Originally TITANS was scheduled for 12 episodes, however the last one was cut, and will end up being part of the second season premiere supposedly. The season ended on such a note however that it did not feel like a season finale, at least to me.

Titans season 2 hits later this year.
