GOTHAM: With The Final Season Coming To A Close Fans Get A Glimpse of Batman

Read Time:1 Minute, 32 Second

With Ben Affleck officially out of the picture in the DCEU and no Batman film on the horizon, fans are left to turn to shows like Gotham and Titans for their Dark Knight fix.  For most of its tenure Gotham has had a very young Bruce Wayne, so Batman was not in the picture in any form.  But this season fans will finally see the full transformation of the young hero and in costume.  Below is a glance of Batman himself:

But this is not the only thing Gotham will be giving fans before wrapping up for good.  Batman mega-villain Bane will fill factor into things in a big way.

The official synopsis for the two-part series finale of Gotham goes a little something like this:

“As Bane (guest star Shane West) enacts his final plan for Gotham’s destruction, Gordon rallies his former enemies to save the city. Meanwhile, Nyssa al Ghul (guest star Jaime Murray) kidnaps Barbara’s newborn daughter with ambitions to raise her as her own. Then, Bruce’s decision to leave Gotham points him to his destiny, while devastating Selina in the all-new “They Did What?” episode of Gotham airing April 18th.”

The series has also included big names such as Poison Ivy, Catwoman, Mr. Freeze, Penguin, Riddler and about five different variations of the Joker over the years.  And while the series has seen its highs and lows, you can’t argue that they’re not planning to go out with a bang.  Gotham will conclude with a two-part series finale airing on April 18 and April 25 with the last episode marking their 100th.

Are you going to check out Batman on the series finale?
