Last year in November, Marvel Icon Stan Lee passed away at the age of 95. Lee was well known for making cameos in several Marvel films. The latest release, Captain Marvel, not only has a Lee cameo, but it also includes a touching tribute at the beginning, with the Marvel Studios logo animation transformed to have Lee’s face instead of the superheroes that usually make up the whole thing. However, the Stan Lee cameo in Captain Marvel won’t be his last cameo in the MCU.
In a recent interview with ET Online, Kevin Feige confirmed that Lee will cameo in Avengers: Endgame. When asked if Lee will appear in Spider-Man: Far From Home, Feige responded:
“We’ll see. We’re heading– We shot a couple of others, so we’re coming up on the last of them, yes.”
Back in April, CBR.com reported that Lee had filmed cameos for three upcoming Marvel movies. Avengers: Endgame co-director Joe Russo said:
“So, Stan, typically we try to get him out — he doesn’t love to fly — so we try to get him out for his cameos around the same time,” Russo said. “So if we have other movies shooting on the same lot that we’re on, for instance Ant-Man 2 or Avengers 4, we group his cameos together and then move him from one set to the next and kind of get him through his cameos in one day.”
That said, it’s been unclear if Lee shot anything from Spider-Man: Far From Home
It will intrigue perceive how they place Stan’s presumably last appearance ever in MCU in the film. With Avengers: Endgame denoting the finish of the story so far in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there would be a satisfying measure of conclusiveness if Lee’s cameo ended there
