New HBO Preview Offers Glimpses of WATCHMEN, GAME OF THRONES, and TRUE DETECTIVE!

HBO was the premium spot for must-see TV long before all these streaming services came to light. With their new spot debuting during The Golden Globes last night, they want to remind people of one thing: The King stays King.

Some of the most talked about shows ever have been on this network, and HBO is making sure you know they still have shows for you to talk about.

The third season of True Detective airs January 13th, with Mahersala Ali starring. It looks great, and the first few episode synopses sound intriguing.

Game Of Thrones needs no promotion. The upcoming final season of the show is one of the most hotly anticipated things in the history of pop culture. They are just reminding you that Winter is still coming.

Euphoria is a new show (adapted from one in Israel of the same name), starring Zendaya and produced by Drake:

Following a group of high school students as they navigate love and friendships in a world of drugs, sex, trauma and social media, the series will be executive produced by Drake, along with manager Future the Prince. The ensemble cast includes actor and singer Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney (Sharp Objects), Maude Apatow (Girls), Jacob Elordi, Algee Smith, Alexa Demi, Barbie Ferreira, Hunter Schafer and Storm Reid.

Watchmen is a new Damon Lindelof venture based in the world of the Watchmen from DC Comics. Little is known about it, but from what I’ve gathered, it is a brand new story that takes place in that world. It doesn’t seem to be a direct retelling of the main story.

Big Little Lies, Veep, Barry, Succession, Chernobyl, Catherine The Great, and Divorce all get a little real estate in the 70 second spot too. The point is, HBO is going to have a big 2019, and you need to be on board.

Did you like the first taste of Watchmen? Anything to dissect from the Game Of Thrones tease?

You can look forward to all of these shows this year exclusively on HBO.
