First Trailer For MEN IN BLACK: INTERNATIONAL Is Out!

Read Time:1 Minute, 35 Second

Whoever it was that watched Thor: Ragnarok and thought to themselves, “We totally need to get Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson to team up again and co-star together in a new Men In Black reboot” deserves a pay raise. With an impressive all-star cast that also features the likes of Liam Neeson, Rebecca Ferguson and Kumail Nanjiani, the new iteration of Men In Black seems primed to continue the legacy of the original hit. After the film’s title was officially announced to be Men In Black: International a few weeks ago, the first trailer is finally out! Watch below:

The trailer opens by introducing fans to Thompson’s Agent M, a rookie badass to the MIB that managed to track down the organization over the course of twenty years and successfully makes a case for why she should be enlisted among its ranks. M is quickly paired up with “one of the best ever to wear the suit“- Agent H (played by Hemsworth), a veteran agent who seems rather fond of Taco Tuesdays. After the organization realizes that it’s been compromised, Agents M and H are sent to London to kick some alien ass and save the universe. All to the tune of Fergie’s 2006 jam “London Bridge,” no less!

Personally I’m quite interested in seeing how Men In Black: International turns out. This trailer is a lot of fun and did a rather good job at selling the film’s new dynamic duo for me at least. Much like in Thor: Ragnarok, Thompson and Hemsworth have fantastic chemistry here together. They might not be Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones, but so long as the film keeps up with what we’re seeing here, I think we’re in good hands.
