Marvel Has Released A New CAPTAIN MARVEL Poster, And A New Trailer Is Expected TONIGHT!

Read Time:1 Minute, 50 Second

Audiences are still reeling from the shocking ending to Avengers: Infinity War, and while we had the delightful Ant-Man And The Wasp afterward, Thanos’s snap was all anyone had on their mind. Our next venture into the MCU will be a period piece in the 90s when we finally get to meet Captain Marvel.

The first trailer was an awesome peek at what is to come. But we are going to get another one very soon. Tonight in fact. Marvel released a brand new poster, and announced that a trailer will debut during Monday Night Football tonight.

That poster is incredible. Tonight’s trailer should be great too. But if you want more than that, you don’t have to wait long. The long-awaited Avengers 4 trailer is expected to debut on Wednesday.

Of course, you should have been expecting this if you listened to the latest episode of The Fanboy Podcast, where Mario hinted we were going to have a huge Marvel month.

For those complaining that football is getting in the way of your superheroes, just know they are as big of fans of this stuff as you are. Check out what Russell Okung listed as his college during the Chargers/Steelers game last night:

This stuff matters. And Disney – who owns ESPN, the network that airs Monday Night Football, would be stupid not to use the synergy of all of their companies.

Maybe this time we will see a little bit more of the digitally de-aged Phil Coulson and Nick Fury. If you don’t want to watch a whole football game to see the trailer, we will it for you as soon as possible, so stay tuned.

Captain Marvel hits theaters March 8, 2019.

Based on the Marvel comic character first appearing in 1968, the story follows Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes when Earth is caught in the middle of a galactic war between two alien races. Set in the 1990s, “Captain Marvel” is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
