We’re Getting A CHILLING ADVENTURES OF SABRINA Holiday Special Next Month

If you haven’t already watched Chilling Adventures of Sabrina on Netflix yet, I highly suggest that you take some time off and do so as soon as possible. The show’s overall “Buffy the Vampire Slayer meets Harry Potter meets Classic 1970’s Horror Films” vibe is down quite well and it’s genuinely been awhile since I last saw a show where I was left wondering where things were going to go next at the end of a season finale. The long and short of it is that this show’s a hit and thankfully it seems fans won’t have to wait too long to get a bit of an update on how things are going for the Spellman family after the eventful finale.

It’s been reported that Netflix is releasing a Chilling Adventures of Sabrina holiday special titled “A Midwinter’s Tale” on Friday, December 14. The streaming service also released a promotional video for upcoming holiday-themed releases that included several short clips from the special. You can watch the video down below.

Additionally, a logline for the episode was released:

“A Midwinter’s Tale” is set during the Church of Night’s celebration of the winter solstice. On the longest night of the year, families gather around the Yule fire to sing pagan carols and tell ghost stories. The holidays are also a time for guests and visitors — both welcome and unwelcome — and you never know who’ll drop down the chimney.“

Without giving too much away from the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Season 1 finale, the brief clips of the special definitely seem to be set sometime afterward, though it remains to be seen just how much of the special will actually be considered canon to the rest of the show. Either way, I’m just excited to get more from this show so soon after its premiere on Netflix.
