Charlie’s Angels hits screens exactly one year from today, and Sony gave us the first official pic from the film, which you can see right here.

Not much in the way of info, true, but we do know there will be several Bosley’s in the film, so this is obviously the locations of their respective offices.
I called the number and here’s the message I heard:
“You have reached the Charles Townsend Agency. Please leave your name and nature of your problem. Should the need arise, we will find you. Good day.”
Elizabeth Banks is directing the reboot, as well as playing one of the Bosleys. Patrick Stewart and Djimon Hounsou will also be sending Angel’s on missions.
Your Angels will be portrayed by Kristen Stewart (The Twilight Saga), Naomi Scott (Power Rangers) and newcomer Ella Balinska.
Charlie’s Angels began as a hit TV show that ran from 1976 – 1981. Drew Barrymore produced and starred in two movies, Charlie’s Angels (2000) and Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle (2003). In 2011 we got another attempt at a TV show, also produced by Barrymore, but it didn’t even make it a whole season. This seems to be one of those franchises that will get another shot every decade or so.
Barrymore’s movies attempted to be stupid fun action flicks, with a shot of The Matrix style action. They mostly succeeded, but audiences lost interest quickly and Full Throttle was the last. Sony’s looking for a new franchise, so hopefully Banks and crew can set the right tone and get people out to see the Angels.
