Stephen Amell And Grant Gustin Switch Roles In This Arrowverse ELSEWORLDS Poster

Well, I wasn’t expecting this. We’ve known for a while that the annual Arrowverse crossover this year would be called Elseworlds and feature Batwoman and Gotham City. We also learned that Superman and Lois Lane will feature in the story as well.

But things are not what they seem. Stephen Amell posted a picture of him and Grant Gustin with Tyler Hoechlin in his new Superman suit, which has a notable change.

Yep, that is the iconic black suit. Its unclear as to if this is the Superman we know, or something else, but the new poster might give us some clues to that.

Grant Gustin is the Green Arrow. Stephen Amell is the Flash. Those were weird sentences to type. But something is certainly amiss here. Is Batwoman going to have to put the universe right again?

Amell has been having fun with the switch. He tweeted the poster along with “My name is Barry Allen and I am the fastest man alive.”

We’ve yet to see Supergirl and how she fits into all of this, but BossLogic had a go at what it might be. It was one swap that Amell had fun with.

I wasn’t sure what to make of “Elseworlds” since we already have “the Multiverse”. What would be the difference? But there is obviously a big difference – one that Ruby Rose’s Batwoman will have to sort out. This must be a ton of fun for Amell and Gustin to play each other’s roles.

Let’s remember that the role swap and Black Suit Superman are what DC is willing to show us. So what surprises are they keeping secret?

The seasons of all 3 shows have started back again, and we will get about 8 episodes of each one before the crossover happens.
