Here Is The First Trailer (And Poster) For CAPTAIN MARVEL!

Read Time:1 Minute, 44 Second

I won’t bury the lead, here is the trailer to highly anticipated chapter in the MCU: Captain Marvel directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck.

Yes, its nice to see Fury and Coulson again, but the best cameo? The 90s Blockbuster! Forget Disney World, Blockbuster in the 90s was my happiest place on Earth!

This sets up the story pretty well. I like that she doesn’t remember her human life. A human Earthling that falls to Earth and doesn’t remember anything about her time on Earth is a movie by itself. Just that premise has me sold.

The aesthetics are wonderful here too. Fans of the character will see a lot of iconic looks of the titular hero.

Yes, she punched an old lady on a bus. I don’t think she is mimicking Austin Powers here. There is a Skrull invasion, and they can look like anyone. Trust nothing you see.

Not only did we get a trailer, but a poster too! Check it out below:

“Higher, Further, Faster” is the tagline, and it is a good metaphor for the MCU too. The MCU started with Earth and science based flicks. They only released about 1 or 2 a year. Now they’ve gone higher, further, and faster. There are space adventures, and we get up to 3 movies a year.

The film stars Academy Award® winner Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Djimon Hounsou, Lee Pace, Lashana Lynch, Gemma Chan, Algenis Perez Soto, Rune Temte, McKenna Grace, with Clark Gregg, and Jude Law.

The trailer is great. I can’t wait to see this movie.

What do you think? Are you excited for this?

Based on the Marvel comic character first appearing in 1968, the story follows Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes when Earth is caught in the middle of a galactic war between two alien races. Set in the 1990s, “Captain Marvel” is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
