BETTER CALL SAUL: Watch a Clip From The Season Premiere

Read Time:1 Minute, 44 Second

The fourth season of Better Call Saul is happening soon. The best show on TV returns August 6th, and it can’t come soon enough. The Breaking Bad spinoff was just renewed for a 5th season, announced courtesy of Bob Odenkirk’s backside. (Seriously).

One of the most intriguing parts of the show, other than all of it, are the flash forwards to a post Breaking Bad era, where Jimmy is no longer Saul, but Gene, a manager at Cinnabon. Last we saw Gene, he passed out in the mall he worked in.

Now, you can watch the follow up to that. Click the link below to watch the non-embeddable video if you want to see Gene be nervous about his identification.

Odenkirk is great in scenes like this. A simple task of showing someone your ID creates all kinds of tension. I love the future Gene stuff, I just hope it is leading somewhere.

A second clip was released by AMC, and this shows Nacho trying to cover up what he did to Hector. You can watch that below:

Tension is what this show does best. The genius of it is that we are genuinely invested in all of these people, and not one of them is a good person. They are all “villains” in different senses of the word.

From everything I’ve seen, it looks like we are in for a devastating, heartbreaking treat.

Better Call Saul returns with its 4th season on August 6.

In “Better Call Saul’s” fourth season, Chuck’s death catalyzes Jimmy McGill’s (Odenkirk) transformation into Saul Goodman. In the wake of his loss, Jimmy takes steps into the criminal world that will put his future as a lawyer – and his relationship with Kim (Rhea Seehorn) – in jeopardy. Chuck’s (Michael McKean) death deeply affects former colleagues Howard (Patrick Fabian) and Kim as well, putting the two of them once again on opposite sides of a battle sparked by the Brothers McGill.
