TITANS: Stunt Double Shows Off A New Look at Robin’s Costume

Read Time:1 Minute, 51 Second

DC is starting a new steaming service and to make it worth signing up and paying for yet another service, making original things like Titans, Swamp Thing and an animated Harley Quinn show. They’re really going to have to wow us with some good content.

Not long ago DC dropped a massive amount of info regarding what other content we can expect see. This includes the fan favorite Batman: The Animated Series, a ton of DC’s animated and live action films as well as lots of motion comics. All that sounds great, but will it be worth the monthly subscription price?

For some of you the answer is yes, but DC realizes that for most of us, there will need to be more of a flagship series to draw us in. Similar to what CBS did with Star Trek: Discovery to lure people into subscribing to CBS All Access and it looks like Titans is shaping up to be that show.

We’ve seen the official images of Brenton Thwaites as Dick Grayson/Robin, but now we have some shots of his stunt double, Mustafa Bulut, in costume.

Here’s Bulut’s Instagram post:

The picture gives you a better look at the texture and color of the costume. The chest plate has some detail on it that wasn’t previously seen in the official promotional images.

In addition to Thwaites, Titans also stars: Teagan Croft as Raven, Anna Diop as Starfire/Koriand’r, Lindsey Gort as Amy Rohrbach, Minka Kelly as Dawn Granger/Dove, Ryan Potter as Beast Boy, Alan Ritchson as Hank Hall/Hawk, April Bowlby as Elasti-Girl, Jake Michaels as Cliff Steele, Dwain Murphy as Negative Man, Seamus Dever as Robot Man, and Bruno Bichir as The Chief.

I have to say, I’m looking forward to the new Titans series coming to DC’s streaming platform; however, I am not looking forward to paying for another streaming service.

They will be pushing the service hard next week at San Diego Comic Con, where DC is planning a massive fan event.

What do you think? Is DC making this worth the cost? Will you be signing up for a subscription?
