Read Time:1 Minute, 40 Second

Glass is M. Night Shyamalan’s latest movie that combines the characters of Unbreakable with Split.  James McAvoy, Bruce Willis, and Samuel L. Jackson all reprise their roles from their respective films, and now Entertainment Weekly is giving us a look at the movie:

You can see the rest of the images over at EW.comGlass was a surprise for both casts. When McAvoy was making Split, he didn’t know it was connected to Unbreakable at first. He tells EW:

“We were chatting and he said, ‘Well, maybe if this one does well, we’ll do another one,’ ” McAvoy told EW in a recent interview. “I was like, ‘Really? We’re going to do a sequel to Split?’ He was like, ‘Yeah, you know, bring back David and all that.’ And I was like, David?” The filmmaker meant Bruce Willis’ David Dunn, the workingman superhero of Unbreakable. That’s when McAvoy knew: “Oh, wait a minute…”

A friend of mine told gave me Split to watch, but gave it to me with Unbreakable. He said slyly that it would make a nice double feature. I just assumed Split had some of the same themes and motifs. I was very surprised when Bruce Willis turned up a the end. Since the moment I saw that scene, I’ve been patiently waiting for this movie. Now seeing all 3 of them together makes me even more excited.

What do you make of the pictures? Are you excited for Glass? If Unbreakable and Split have flown under your radar, do yourself a favor and rent both of these movies to watch. You won’t be disappointed.

Glass hits theaters January 18, 2019.

Following the conclusion of SplitGlass finds David Dunn pursuing Crumb’s superhuman figure of The Beast in a series of escalating encounters, while the shadowy presence of Elijah Price emerges as an orchestrator who holds secrets critical to both men. This riveting culmination of his worldwide blockbusters will be produced by Shyamalan and Jason Blum.
