It looks like Fox is ready to rock audiences with Bohemian Rhapsody.
The studio dropped the first trailer for the upcoming Queen biopic and it looks like the film will be the tribute that the band deserves.
The trailer features a pretty cool melody of the band’s biggest hits, from “Killer Queen” to the titular, “Bohemian Rhapsody”. We also get a more in-depth look at Rami Malek as Freddie Mercury. Malek looks to have fully-embodied Mercury, from his look to his signature on-stage moves that made Mercury one of the best entertainers of all-time.
The film will follow the rise of Queen through their signature sound and iconic songs, to the band’s near-breakup due to Mercury’s spiraling lifestyle, to the band’s reunion at Live Aid, where the band has one of the most iconic performances in the history of rock music, as Mercury faces a life-threatening illness.
If the film lives up to the sizable expectations from the trailer and Fox moving it from the crowded holiday season, Bohemian Rhapsody looks like it’ll be a nice little hit for the studio.
Bohemian Rhapsody will rock theaters on November 2.
