DEADPOOL 2 Soundtrack Seems To Confirm That [SPOILER] Is In The Film, After All
[Beware! If you don’t want anything *SPOILED* for Deadpool 2, then do NOT proceed!]
Deadpool 2 is a fairly fascinating project, when you consider the amount of speculation it’s generated since its inception, and the fact that it may end up being part of the only Fox X-Men property that survives the merger with Disney- where it’s expected that the X-Men and Fantastic Four are going to get completely rebooted as part of their introduction into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In a way, it feels like Deadpool is using his katanas to carve out his own little corner of the X-Men universe, which makes the characters included in this sequel especially interesting.
One of the X-Men characters that’s been rumored to appear in Deadpool 2 is Cain Marko, aka Juggernaut. Whether it’s from folks claiming to have insider knowledge, to folks reading a ton into leaked set pictures from the set, there’s been plenty of discussion about whether or not Juggernaut is going to factor into the film.

Well, now- thanks to the film’s soundtrack, composed by Tyler Bates- we seem to have a fairly definitive answer to that question.
The official score for Deadpool 2 has been released, and it includes a track called “You Can’t Stop This Mother F*****.” While that may not exactly scream “Juggernaut,” there’s actually a choir in the middle of the track that does. They sing:
“You can’t stop him
He’s the Juggernaut
You can’t stop
This mother f*****
Holy sh*t balls [x8]”
So there you have it, folks. It looks like we’ll get to see an all-new interpretation of Juggernaut in Deadpool 2. The last time we saw the character was in X-Men: The Last Stand, when he was played by Vinnie Jones.
It creates an interesting situation when you think about it, since Juggernaut is a staple of the X-Men mythos. With the Deadpool and X-Force movies expected to continue when Disney assumes ownership of Fox, does this mean that the Juggernaut we meet in Deadpool 2 will be the same one we see in the eventual MCU-reboot of the X-Men? Will they create a separate Juggernaut for those films? Will Deadpool himself eventually be brought into the MCU at all?
We shall see.
For now, you can just look forward to seeing Juggernaut in Deadpool 2 on May 18.
