ANT-MAN And THE WASP: New Photos And Story Details!

Read Time:1 Minute, 38 Second

With Avengers: Infinity War coming coming to theaters next week and all the excitement that has been almost at a boiling point, it is easy to forget that Marvel Studios has another movie coming to theaters shortly following the mash up, Ant-Man and The Wasp. Paul Rudd brought the miniature super hero to the screen in a big way in both his stand alone Ant-Man film and his role as the super sized version of the anthropoid whisperer in Captain America: Civil War. Fans were treated to an unexpectedly cool introduction, and now that we are acquainted, Marvel has released two new photos from the Ant-Man and The Wasp movie that will keep that interest very much a buzzing.

What remained a mystery was the villain and plot for the upcoming film, which Evangeline Lilly shed some light on in her interview with Entertainment Weekly;

“Scott entered the Quantum Realm in the first film and came back, which is something they thought was impossible. The question has arisen ‘Can Janet come back?’ So the entire film, my character is hell-bent on finding a way to get into the Quantum Realm and bring her back.”

She references the ending of the first Ant-Man movie which saw a fairly epic battle between the new hero and his long time nemesis Yellow jacket. This battle did reveal the Quantum Realm, which it seems like we will get further into with the second film. The Ant-Man and The Wasp movie will also bring a new villain, Ghost, played by Hannah John-Kamen, a character who is a brilliant scientist and inventor that develops a suit that allows phasing abilities much like, well, a ghost.
