AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR is Selling More Pre-Sale Tickets than the Last Seven MCU Movies Combined

To say Avengers: Infinity War will be a success seems to be an understatement.
The 19th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is currently outpacing its Marvel sibling – Black Panther – two to one in Fandango pre-sale tickets and is selling more tickets than the last seven MCU movies combined. When you’re outdoing such films as Spider-Man Homecoming and Captain America: Civil War that says a lot.
Fandango Managing Editor Erik Davis said that the upcoming superhero flick is building up to be something special.
Infinity War has built up such unprecedented anticipation that it’s pacing to break records, the likes of which we have never seen before for a superhero movie. Moviegoers are rushing to guarantee their seats in advance for what is sure to be one of the most talked-about movies of the decade.
The fact that Infinity War is doing these types of numbers with two weeks before it releases shows that audiences are ready for the superhero epic.
Avengers: Infinity War opens on April 27.
