A QUIET PLACE Writers Have Sequel Ideas

Read Time:1 Minute, 10 Second

Brace yourselves – 2 Quiet 2 Place: Electric Boogaloo could be coming soon! A Quiet Place is this year’s Get Out – a low budget horror movie directed by someone primarily known for comedy. The movie is number one at the box office, and is a critically acclaimed hit. So of course, the only logical question now is: Will there be a sequel?

According to the film’s writers Bryan Woods and Scott Beck, there could be. When asked by Fandango about the possibility, Woods replied:

“It’s such a fun world, there are so many things you could do.

I’ve not seen the film yet, so I can’t speculate on what they could do, but Beck has some vague (non-spoilery) notions already.

There are so many discarded set pieces, too, just hiding out on Word documents on our computer,” Beck added. “So, yeah, there are certainly so many stories you could tell. It’s just really, at the end of the day, who are the characters in this and what does this situation mean to that dynamic?”

So there you go. If you enjoyed the world built in A Quiet Place you could be getting more of it in the future. Speaking of which, have you seen it yet? Our own Mario-Francisco Robles wrote a review for it last week where he wholeheartedly recommends it. You can read his full, non-spoiler review RIGHT HERE.
