JOHN WICK 3 Heading to Japan?

Read Time:1 Minute, 6 Second

The John Wick series has been one of the more pleasant surprises to come out of Hollywood in recent years.

Released in 2014, the first John Wick was a critical and financial success and spawned an equally successful sequel – John Wick: Chapter 2 – in 2017. Now, with filming set to begin at the end of April, we may have a little more info on what Wick may be dealing with in John Wick: Chapter 3.

According to Omega Underground, filming for John Wick: Chapter 3 may take place in Japan and casting for Japanese actors  is currently underway. Producer/star Keanu Reeves has stated in the past that Tokyo, Japan is one of the places he was hoping to be apart of the third John Wick film.

With this information – plus The Wolverine and The Last Samurai actor Hiroyuki Sanada reportedly cast as the film’s villain – it would suggest that Wick will deal with the Yakuza in the film.

Whether or not the film primarily takes place in Japan, it’ll be fun to see Wick crossing paths with the infamous crime syndicate and the potential action scenes between them.

John Wick: Chapter 3 is currently slated to release on May 17, 2019.

What do you guys think of John Wick possibly heading to Japan in the next film?
