It’s Official! CAPTAIN MARVEL Has Started Filming, And There’s Video To Prove It!

Read Time:1 Minute, 18 Second

Black Panther was over a month ago and is still number one at the box office. Avengers: Infinity War just dropped one of the best trailers in cinematic history, and the sequel to Ant-Man is only a few months away. Things are going very well for Marvel Studios. But they just got better.

Even though it should have been Black Widow, Marvel’s first solo female adventure, Captain Marvel, has started filming. The film stars Brie Larson as Carol Danvers. You can see the video from an Instagram user below:

There’s no denying it – that is Brie Larson in the Captain Marvel suit! Now, Marvel hasn’t officially announced that it started filming yet, but that can’t be far off. They have a busy schedule promoting the biggest superhero film in the world at the moment, but I’m sure they will get to it in good time.

There is no official synopsis yet, but it is rumored to take place in the 90s, involve the Kree, and a young(er) Nick Fury with Samuel L. Jackson reprising his role. In fact, Jackson posted a shot of himself getting some prosthesis work done on Instagram:

That could have some interesting implications if you’re familiar with the comics. But we won’t know for sure until the film drops in March of next year.

Are you excited for Captain Marvel? We should be getting more information about it any time now, so sit tight.
