UPDATE: AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR Tickets and New Trailer Possibly Coming Soon
UPDATE
Shortly after we published this report, our editor-in-chief Mario-Francisco Robles took to twitter to share what his own digging on the situation had come up with:
BREAKING:
Having laid eyes on official AMC docs, I can confirm the rumors that sprung up yesterday on Reddit.
Tickets for #AvengersInfinityWar will go on sale this Friday.
That’s also when Disney officially kicks off their nat’l PR campaign, so I’d expect a trailer.

So there you have it, folks. You’ll be able to get your Infinity War tickets this Friday, and we’re assuming a fresh trailer will drop the same day.
ORIGINAL REPORT:
Even though there are two of them in Avengers: Infinity War, it doesn’t take Sherlock Holmes to figure out that tickets for one of the biggest movies ever being released in about 6 weeks will be on sale soon. But some internet sleuths have made an educated guess as to when that might be other than “soon”.
Marvel India revealed that a new trailer will drop for them on March 13th (today). When ComicBook.com reached out to Disney for comment, Disney replied saying that no new trailer for Avengers: Infinity War will be released on the 13th.
But in today’s landscape, tickets for these big events don’t drop by themselves. They are usually accompanied by a trailer, sneak peek or something like that. Disney didn’t say that a new trailer isn’t happening at all, just that it isn’t happening today.
So, pair that with the knowledge that a Reddit User who claims to work for an exhibition chain is saying that Infinity War tickets will go on sale Friday the 15th. (Beware the Ides of March….and internet rumors!). The result, is that a new trailer could be coming very soon.
A new trailer Infinity War needs to happen, since the release date has changed in the United States. No one knows what day exactly, but some thought it would be with Black Panther. That didn’t happen. Others thought it would be with A Wrinkle in Time. That didn’t happen either. It remains to be seen whether it will be attached to some big event, like other trailers have been in the past to the Olympics, Monday Night Football, and Jimmy Kimmel Live. But it is a safe bet there will be one soon, and with the smoke being generated from some far away fire, it might even be this week.
Do you even want another trailer? Or is your thirst saturated enough to hold you over until April 27th when the movie drops worldwide?
I don’t want anything more, so the surprises stay intact. But I am weak. Anything they give me I will gladly consume.
