Leaked Superman Deleted Scene from JUSTICE LEAGUE Surfaces Online

Read Time:1 Minute, 21 Second

In May 2017, Zack Snyder had to step down as director of Justice League due to a family tragedy. Joss Whedon took the job of directing the film’s reshoots after Snyder’s leave in the summer of 2017, and through the months leading up to its November 17, 2017 release, Justice League received a complete overhaul from Warner Bros. Since release, some DC fans have been dissatisfied with the final product and have longed for a Zack Snyder cut of the film. Warner Bros. has made no plans to release a Snyder cut but has promised 2-minutes worth of deleted material for its home video release.

Today, video leaked of a deleted scene that will be included on the Justice League Blu-Ray. The footage includes Superman returning to the Kryptonian ship to get his suit back. As Superman walks through the halls, he sees a black suit with a silver chest plate and we hear Hans Zimmer’s Superman theme playing in the background, leaving fans to imagine what could have been.

You can check out the deleted Superman sequence from Justice League right here:

It should be noted that this is 100% from Snyder’s Cut of the film, as you can tell by his upper lip. As we’ve reported before, Warner Bros. is not opposed to releasing material from Snyder’s version of JL, so long as it doesn’t directly contradict anything shown in the theatrical cut of the film.

What do you think of this leaked deleted scene? Are you a fan of Snyder’s original vision for Justice League? Sound off in the comments.

  1. This scene should have been in the movie, literally zero excuse for it to have not been there, plus that Hans Zimmer music…………why oh why did they get Danny Elfman involved (love you, mean it Danny)
