JURASSIC WORLD: FALLEN KINGDOM Is Most Viewed Super Bowl Trailer Online

Read Time:1 Minute, 7 Second

This year’s Super Bowl attracted some ads from many heavy-hitting franchises, from Avengers: Infinity War and Solo to Mission: Impossible – Fallout and Skyscraper. But it was Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom that seized the most viewership online, according to Deadline.

Let’s face it, we know every trailer gets maximum exposure when it airs during the big game, but the biggest winner is always the one that inspires people to jump online and watch it again (and again). This year, that was Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. If you haven’t seen it yet, here you go:

ComScore’s numbers revealed the Fallen Kingdom trailer netted 3.56 million views in just twelve hours between Facebook and Youtube. Paramount’s MI6 followed with a 2.09 million views. However, Marvel’s Infinity War and Lucasfilm’s Solo led the night in social media conversations with 161K and 109K respectively.

While some may have been underwhelmed by the first trailer for J.A. Bayona-directed sequel, the second look at Fallen Kingdom seems to have been better received by the general public.

The sequel stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, B.D. Wong, Ted Levine, James Cromwell and Jeff Goldblum.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom stomps into cinemas on June 22.

How did you guys feel about the new trailer? Did it increase your anticipation for the forthcoming film? Sound off below!

  1. I’m officially interested in this movie now. I love the new tense music arrangement of the original theme in the trailer.
