Big Meets Bigger In New Trailer For Dwayne Johnson’s RAMPAGE

Read Time:1 Minute, 20 Second

While Dwayne Johnson is currently going on a worldwide rampage with Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle, that doesn’t detract from the fact that he’s got an actual Rampage on the way!

Yes, the actor is set to appear in Rampage, an adaptation of the classic arcade game. It looks to be another outsized, action-packed blockbuster on par with previous Johnson flicks like and San AndreasJourney 2. In fact, it doesn’t just look like those films. It’s actually directed by the same guy Johnson made those movies with: Brad Peyton.

Here’s the latest trailer for the mayhem-filled monster mash:

Primatologist Davis Okoye (Johnson), a man who keeps people at a distance, shares an unshakable bond with George, the extraordinarily intelligent, silverback gorilla who has been in his care since birth. But a rogue genetic experiment gone awry transforms this gentle ape into a raging monster. To make matters worse, it’s soon discovered there are other similarly altered alpha predators. As these newly created monsters tear across North America, destroying everything in their path, Okoye teams with a discredited genetic engineer to secure an antidote, fighting his way through an ever-changing battlefield, not only to halt a global catastrophe but to save the fearsome creature that was once his friend.

Aside from Johnson, the film also stars Naomie Harris, Malin Akerman, Jake Lacy, Joe Manganiello, P.J. Byrne, Marley Shelton, Breanne Hill, Jack Quaid, Matt Gerald, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan

Rampage arrives in theaters on April 20.
