Last summer saw the rebirth of the Spider-Man franchise with Spider-Man: Homecoming. One of Marvels biggest and most known heroes came back to the big screen with vengeance guided by the hand of director Jon Watts and spearheaded with the star of the film Tom Holland. The movie’s decision to use a lesser appreciated villain in The Vulture was a hit among fans who found this to be a new page in the wall crawler’s film evolution and gave more than enough incentive for the studio to release the sequel.
Recently, That Hashtag Show shared with the fans that after clashing with the mad demi- god Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War coming to theater May 4th, the Sony-Marvel tag team will jump into the production of the Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel May 28th, which will keep it on track to for its July 2019 release. Peter Parker will come back to the big screen as the very next Marvel movie following the soon to be epic Infinity War that will reach its climax that same year.
The Spider-Man reboot grossed over $850 million last year, making it the biggest grossing reboot of any film to date. The anticipation for the next film is at a high point and will only continue to climb when the web head makes his appearance in Avengers: Infinity War.
